I'm A Proud Mammy!

We are all proud of our little ones right? Well, do you ever get one of them days where you just sit down and watch your little ones play, watch TV or sleeping? I do. It happens often actually. When their sleeping, as weird as it sounds I love going to sit next to them, hold their hand and watch them sleep peacefully. But of course, if they wake up I tip-toe out for the bedroom, or hide myself at the end of the bed ha ha. When falling pregnant at 16 years old, one thing I didn't know was how much I would love a little person never mind two! When I was pregnant the 2nd time at 19 years old I could not get my head around on sharing my love between two babies. Once Elliw came, I don't know how, but my love was already shared between them both.

Those lovely moments when your child hits a new milestone! That first word (hoping it will be mam!) but both of my girls learnt the word Dad before Mam! But when they say the word Mam your heart drops and you're so proud of them right? Even though they probably don't know what the word means it is still a big thing to us mums. My two girls are now 2 years old and 4 years old and I get called Mam, Mama, Mummy and Mammy. Mostly Mam and Mummy though! Even though it can get on my wicks sometimes if they say the word constantly because their misbehaving or wanting something there and then.

Never would I have thought I would of had 2 children at the age of 21. However, I would never change my life for the world. These girls are the ones that keep me going, keep me busy every single day of the year. Without them, what else is there? Nothing in my eyes anyway.

This morning as I am writing this post (22nd July 2014) Elliw and Mia are in the living room colouring. It makes me really happy that they can both be quiet and play together sometimes. It doesn't happen often but when it does I do love those moments. I love how they will help eachother if they are stuck or unhappy. I love how they hold hands when we go out for walks, how they laugh together and have cute little conversations with eachother.

Sometimes I will look back at newborn photos of them both and wonder where has the time gone? It just makes you feel so proud on how much your little baby has grown up. Knowing Mia is going to full time school in September and September 2015 Elliw will be part time school. It's mad. Most new parents they only think that the only things to learn a child is walking, crawling, weaning, talking and running and the odd things such as riding a bike etc. It's what I thought anyway! But actually being their mother I have learnt new things myself, you are the ones that make their personalities. You are the one who teaches them right from wrong. Us mothers are their teachers, cooks, nurses, artisit, photographers, councillers and much more! We don't get paid for it, I wouldn't want to either. It's all worth it, watching them grow up, make friends and be their own little person.

Super Busy Mum
