Family Meal

October 15th we went out for a family meal in the evening. We went to Table Table in Bangor for food. The last time we went for a family meal with my side of the family was about 2 or 3 years ago if I remember rightly so I was really looking forward to it and it was to celebrate my Nain's 72nd birthday. The table was booked for 6pm and for a change we were 15 minutes early. We're the ones that are usually late to events but not this time (woohoo!).

The meal was on a school evening so we were all pretty much on-the-go the minute I picked the girls up from school. I managed to get some housework done, washed and dried my hair, put the girls to bath and got them both and myself dressed and ready to go out of the house by 5.15pm. Not to bad to do all that within 2 hours I guess!

When we arrived at the car park of Table Table we waited a bit until about 5.55pm when we decided to get out and start walking to the restaurant. We then saw my Nain and Taid so we got my Nain's bunch of flowers out of the car and gave them to her. We went in to be seated at the booked table and we all just talked and waited for my Dad, Brother and Uncle to arrive. While we waited we all took a look at the food menu.

I chose Thai Green Chicken Curry, My partner chose Cheeseburger and chips, Mia had the child's Chicken Curry and rice and Elliw chose Chips, Rice and Poppin' Chicken. We all really enjoyed our meals but were so disappointed in the size. We could certaintly tell that the presentation seemed more important to them than the quantity and we would have preferred it the opposite. On the other hand, the food was lovely.

We stayed at the table until about 9pm and we all had a lovely time. It was really nice to have most of the family together and all having a catch up. Both girls were well behaved and were quite funny throughout the evening. I really can't wait for our next family meal.

I apologise for the bad quality photos. They were all taken on my phone camera.
