Me and Mine {June}

I missed last month's Me and Mine which I was a little disappointed about but it wasn't a great month, and I didn't manage to get a photo of us all together. However, I managed to get a few at the beginning of this month and have been looking forward to writing this post - for a long time! It's really strange to think this time last year it was the last month of us being a family of four and now we're a family of five. A year goes by too quickly. Freddie will be one in July, and although it's exciting, it's making me feel a little sad too. My baby boy, my last baby, is growing up so quickly.

I always thought I would be a Mam of girls. Never did I think I'd have my own little boy, a son. It's just such an amazing feeling have a little boy, as well as having two amazing, beautiful little girls. Our life has changed a lot since having Freddie. We've been on the rocks but managed to work things out and still slowly working other things out too. Being parents is hard work, but something we didn't do enough was spending time just us. Sometimes we just need time on our own with no kids. Time to talk with no interruptions and time to just remember us, before becoming a family.

We've also been on a few family outings this month and spending a couple of afternoons in the back garden having a barbecue. It's been lovely. One of my best days was having a day out at Bodnant Gardens, it was absolutely beautiful. Friends came with us, and I jumped at the chance to ask them to take a photo of us all together, and I absolutely love them. I think they are my most favourite family photos, ever.
