HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY MIA

Dear Mia,

I can't believe my first daughter is now eight years old. It scares me a little that there are only another two years and we'll be celebrating double figures, the big 10. How crazy is that? You have grown up to be such a wonderful little girl, with a few attitude problems aside, but I can forgive you for that, ha ha. As I'm sure that attitude will only get worse as you're growing into the teenage years. But otherwise, you're so lovely and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better big sister for Elliw and Freddie. You are absolutely amazing - a proper Mother hen to them both. Little miss knows it all with many things but also still that shy little girl, and you honestly do remind me so much of myself of when I was a child.

We're currently on our second day of our little break in Bluestone, and it's one of your favourite places to visit. I remember telling you for the first time that we were staying in Bluestone over your birthday, and you were so excited. It's been a busy but fantastic couple of days so far, and you've had so much fun, as well has Elliw and Freddie. I am so proud of you, and I thank you for making me who I am today. From the moment I held you in my arms at 7:12pm on that Saturday on 5th of December 2009, you changed my life. But for the better. I had to grow up quicker than other people my age and although it was a very scary time - I was ready for it.

You're so beautiful Mia, and you're amazing.

Happy Birthday, darling.

Mam loves you so much.

Lots of love,

Mam xxx
