HOW I AM FEELING
I have definitely been feeling pregnant this week. It's starting to get a little uncomfortable now. I have really struggled with the school runs and coping with the girls. Some days they have been good and others they have been a nightmare not listening. It's a bit tough at the moment with Elliw but we're taking it day by day! Her temper can be a little too much though. Other than that, I do feel ok with myself. Pretty tired but that's nothing new.
APPOINTMENTS
I had my midwife appointment for my GTT test and normal weekly bloods for OC on Wednesday. I think my results for GTT test are fine because she didn't call me the next day. I got to hear baby's heartbeat and my friend got to hear it too!
OBSTETRIC CHOLESTASIS
I was away last Wednesday so was unable to take bloods. I got my results for my bile acids and ALT from 2 weeks ago and they have raised again. My ALT was 53 but now it is 60. My bile acids were 10 but now they are 13. So with me not having my blood test last week, it will be interesting to see what the results are next Wednesday. I do hope they stay below 14. If they are 14 or above I will be referred to hospital sooner than planned.
My itching is still there but still mild. I have felt it a bit more the past few evenings. With my girls it started on and before 30 weeks so I am just trying to enoy these last 5 weeks before hell starts (if it does!).
HOW THE GIRLS FEEL
The girls are still excited to meet their baby brother. I still have them both (Mia mostly) coming up to me and giving bump a kiss and cuddle. They still ask questions and interested, which is great. Mia comments a lot about my weight such as my hips are getting fat, wondering if I will be thin after Baby boy is born and so on. Things kids come out with is hilarious.
BABY BOY
Baby boy is moving a lot this week. I can't sit properly, I have to sit a certain way to be comfortable. I can really feel him pushing up at the top of my bump and pushing straight down too. If I am honest, he feels huge already! His kicks and movements are getting stronger.
SYMPTOMS
I have been extremely tired, stressed and emotional. Some days I just want to be alone in peace. No chance of that with kids though. Other symptoms have been sore breasts, some shoulder pains and growing pains!

I feel so lazy. You've written about 3 updates since my last pregnancy update of 22 weeks. I need to get my ball game going.
ReplyDeleteStill looking as great as ever I see. I too have been a bit emotional and stressed this week, trying to take it easy now though. Fingers crossed they stay below 14, last thing you want is to admitted. Look after yourself :)
Hope your results come back as you hope and that the itching stays mild. You're looking great, but I remember how exhausting it was being pregnant with two other children to look after x
ReplyDeleteOver half way now! Good luck with the pregnancy and I hope the itching stays mild for you x
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how tiring it must be to juggle your two little ladies whilst being pregnant. I was shattered with just one so my hat goes off to you! The weeks seem to be flying past now lovely. Thanks for hosting xx

Hi Beth, looking after a young family and being pregnant can't be fun (I've blocked the whole experience from my memory and ever had one child to look after whilst pregnant).
ReplyDeleteHopefully Elliw will calm down once she realizes she's a big sister? It's not nice not being able to sit comfortably, so fingers crossed baby boy shifts into a better position for you!
xx
Sounds like you've had a tough week, don't forget to try to do something nice for yourself now and again! I know it can be practically impossible after your first pregnancy but it's important you look after yourself too. I hope your results come back ok next week, take care x #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteYour bump is so lovely but is such a shame that you have had such a tough week. Fingers crossed that your levels decrease before your next appointment. #JustAnotherLinky
ReplyDeleteSorry to read that you have a tough week. I really hope the results are ok. Big hugs #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your tough week. Over half way now though. I hope everything settles down a bit for you over the next few weeks.
ReplyDeleteawww bless you, it can tough when you start getting uncomfy but its not forever (well a few more months) and he looks like a big one, plus sounds strong. I hope youre blood results are okay, good luck. gorgeous bump as always. #Justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteI only have one boy and I always wonder what it would be like to be pregnant while looking after other children. I think you are doing so well and hopefully it will all go smoothly. Gorgeous bump! #justanotherlinky

You do look wonderful indeed. You have such a glow about you - pregnancy obviously suits you! I hope you have a better week ahead.
ReplyDeleteHalfway there. The tiredness is a killer isn't it especially when you have othe children to look after. Glad that the itching is still mild. Hope it stays that way x
ReplyDeleteNot much longer to go! I remember how hard it was being pregnant with my 10 week old baby girl and she was 14 days late! I can't imagine how hard it is with other children as well. You look gorgeous! xx

Sorry to hear you've had a tough week. Hope your bloods come back lower this week and you start to feel a bit better xx
ReplyDeleteIt's so tough as you get to the later stages. I can't imagine doing it with two. I had a toddler to look after in my second pregnancy and I was quite poorly with some complications and it was sooo tough. You do look amazing though and it will start to fly by. Hope you have a better few weeks ahead. x #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteOn the home stretch now! You don't look tired! You look amazing! Keep going! #JustAnotherLinky xx
ReplyDeleteI can relate, I find it so hard to get comfortable sitting down. I got one of those gym balls this week and finding that comfy to sit on. I don't know how you do the school run, it must be tiring! Xx
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have had a tough week, at least you are on the countdown now x
ReplyDeleteAww how exciting. :) I've got one daughter who is 19 now and it seems like yesterday I was pregnant. I had such a lovely pregnancy until the last few weeks when I got pre-eclampsia, but all in all it was a good experience. I bet you can't wait to say hello to your baby boy. And your girls will be such brilliant big sisters <3

I remember feeling very tired whilst pregnant with m twins. You look well x
ReplyDeleteIt's the final bend now - nearly there! Remember to take time to relax!
ReplyDeleteLook at that beautiful baby bump!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how tired you must be feeling. I was utterly exhausted during my pregnancy, so much so there were some days when then only time I stepped out of bed was to go to the bathroom. I cannot imagine having had to chase after two kids during that time. I hope the itching stays mild, and everything continues to go smoothly <3 #justanotherlinky
Sorry you've had a tough week honey but you are looking gorgeous! Rest up and look forward to hearing how you've got on next week xx #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteYou look fab, hope you manage to get some rest aswel as looking after the girls. I love that they are still kissing the bump x
ReplyDeleteMore than halfway there! Make sure to take some time to yourself to relax! #justanotherlinky

Sorry you have had a tough week, hopefully the next few weeks will be a little easier for you.
ReplyDeleteAw you're looking lovely! You must be counting down now! x
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic! Hope the girls behave a little better for you this week :) #shareitsunday
ReplyDeleteOh my! Time flies so fast. You're looking great and good. Keep strong! Can't wait to see a post of your baby soon! ;)
ReplyDeleteSo exciting for your other children! Can't wait to give my son a sibling. A magical but incredibly exhausting time I'd imagine! #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteI love your bump! Sorry to hear it's been a bit tiring and stressful but lovely the girls are getting excited for their little brother. I'm looking forward to the movements xx #marvmondays
ReplyDeleteSounds like a hard week, but it's been school holidays which makes it harder than normal when your feeling rubbish. I hope you manage to get a little rest at some point soon
ReplyDeleteOh I feel for you! It's been over 4 years since I was preggers but I remember it well. I was NEVER comfortable after about 25 weeks. Love that the girls kiss your belly and I'm sure are excited to meet new little brother. Thanks so much for hostessing #justanotherlinky.
ReplyDeleteI always forget how close we are, I'll be 25 weeks on Thursday and can completely relate. I'm so glad someone else has the itching too, I thought it was just me it was driving mad! Thanks for linking up to #MarvMondays. Kaye xo
ReplyDeleteYour'e not alone when it comes to having peace and quiet. I quickly came to realise how I like to have some alone time when my daughter was born.
ReplyDeleteHope you get the test results you're hoping for. I don't like the bit in pregnancy where it's always uncomfortable (for me it was usually because they were in my ribs!), but you're well over half way now! #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteYour really bumping out now! I hope all your test results are ok. I had awful itching with my first baby, it brought me to tears quite a lot so I really feel you there. I hope you manage to squeeze in a little alone time at some point but you're right it's definitely hard to relax when you're already a mum! Thanks for hosting x
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous bump! My SIL had the Obstetric Cholestasis too - it's awful and I hope it's not getting you down too much :*( x
