When the VISTA got delivered one morning, the box was pretty heavy and I did struggle to take through to the living room to set it up. Elliw got really excited too, so she helped me put the pram together. When I opened the box there were simple photo instructions on one flap of the box. I took everything out and the toddler seat and carry cot were packed in a big black bag which I thought was perfect for keeping them both clean and easy to carry.
What's included:
• x1 Carry cot
• x1 Full size front and rear Toddler seat
• Aluminum alloy/Magnesium frame
• Bassinet
• Bassinet bug shield
• Bassinet Storage bag
• Toddler seat rain shield
• Toddler seat bug shield
• Front and back wheels
• Bumper bar
Putting Together:
The pram was shockingly very simple to put together. I thought with the weight of the box, I would of had to wait for my partner to come home and help me but I managed to put the pram together by myself, with a little help from Elliw too. All you have to do is put the frame up, push the front and back wheels in the pram and then stick the carry cot or toddler chair. That is how simple it is putting together. I was extremely pleased that it was simple and easy to put together.
-------
The carry cot is suitable from birth to roughly 6 months old and the toddler seat is suitable from 6 months to 15kg. The carry cot has now been updated from their previous pram. With the zip-out liner and the boot cover means it is very easy to remove and clean. The perforated mattress pad and the vented base allows added breath-ability. If you fancy a little break, you could let baby sleep in the carry cot at the grandparents' for the night. The carry cot is not heavy to carry and sticks onto the pram easy. You can bring the carry cot hood back and forward easily with two buttons each side. There is also a button with an arrow at the top of the hood which allows you to take the carry cot off when needed. The carry cot also comes with a ventilated canopy and extendable SPF 50+ sunshade. You can also add a carseat on the pram. The VISTA is compaible with the Maxi Cosi and BeSafe Infant car seats with VISTA's adapters.
I took the UPPAbaby VISTA pram to my back garden to have a little go and test out if it was nice to push, light and other things. I was very pleased that the pram was so light and smooth to push. The handle has a button which you press for the handle to go to the height you want it. It is ideal for the tall people and even shorter people. On the front wheels there is a grey button on each wheel which you can press to either lock the wheels in place or make the swivel. I always get trouble folding new prams but when I tried to fold the VISTA down I was very pleased with how easy it was.

You can purchase this beautiful pram for just £699.99 which I think is a reasonable price for what is included and the quality of the pram. This pram can also transform to a double pram which I will talk about in a future post. With many prams these days you think you are having a good deal but you need to buy the extra seat, raincover or anything else that needs to be added and that means the price is adding up to more than your budget. With this pram you have everything included in the price which is fantastic and also grows with your family.
Overall I am very pleased with the UPPAbaby VISTA 2015. It is a lightweight pram, comfortable to push and fold up. Being a Mum of two children already, the last thing I wanted was to push a heavy pram and a pram that was hard to fold. When you have other children to look after you want things to be quick and easy and that is what the VISTA is. Keep an eye out for more posts and some vlogs about the VISTA pram and about how it grows with your family.
I recieved the UPPAbaby VISTA 2015 pram free of charge in return of an honest review {and more posts to follow}
That pram looks pretty sturdy despite being lightweight. When you said the box was heavy when it was delivered I must admit I thought you wouldn't be able to put it all together on your own but I'm glad you did as it show's consideration from the brand that sometimes there is not two people on hand.
ReplyDeleteI love the design of this, it looks super handy especially if you can fold it and take it to bits by yourself. The one my sister has is awful, you need a degree to just put a baby in it x
ReplyDeleteWe bought the Uppababy Vista when we had Little London and I LOVED it. The basket size is so good there's nothing really that doesn't fit in the pram. I have a small boot on my car (audi a3 convertible so VERY limited on space) as well, and once collapsed down I had no problem putting the pram in the car. It is a weighty pram, but it doesn't feelit when pushing and it's so nice to push. There's no terrain it can't go over, including sand! We did get a stroller once our son was around one because we didn't need such a big pram anymore and we wanted something lighter, but because we loved the brand so much we went with their G Luxe stroller. We keep the vista in the boot though for days out so it's still getting used and he's nearly 21/2 now. Brilliant pram. You'll love it!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any children, but I know my friend was looking to invest in a new pram, so I'm going to send her a link to this straight away. It sounds like a great one!
ReplyDeleteit must be so useful to have a carry cot come with a pram. I did not know how expensive these kinds of things were until a friend said! Crazy x
ReplyDeleteWow! I love that a carry cot comes with the pram and it is amazing that they have gifted you one for free that is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI was expecting it to be heavy too since the box was heavy, loving the carry cot. Such a lovely detailed review
ReplyDeleteThis is so much better than the one I had. It'll last longer too. It's good to know that it's easy to put together!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Uppababy but will surely pass it along to my mommy friends and just married gals as I truly believe it will be a great addition to every family. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest is nearly 13 and Oran's really have got so high tech now. We had a carrycot which is absolutely perfect for newborns I think. I didn't like squashing mine up in car seats al the time we were out.
ReplyDeleteit looks a nice little pram i love my cosatto which is also a pramette . vurrently just taken the carrier of and placed the stroller chair on it now as hes a little big for it now
ReplyDeleteNice to hear that this is really simple to put up. I feel really sorry for parents I see struggling on the sides of the road to get their prams set up whilst the baby is screaming xD
ReplyDeleteSome prams are such a nightmare to put together, I am going to recommend this to my friend who is having a little boy soon!
ReplyDeleteExcellent review...love your photos too, always been a big fan of the VISTA x
ReplyDeleteIts good to see that the pram was easy to put together.I hope you get lots of good use from it once baby arrives.
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't know prams were so expensive! This does look like its of a great quality though.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great and it's just on the higher side of mid-range price for a pram (I used to sell them for a living!). I never used to be a fan of UppaBaby but this is looking like a great deal!
ReplyDeleteI am something of a pushchair obsessive and I have heard a lot of good things about the Uppababy Vista so I am sure it will be a great pushchair for you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, the clothes look so stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so great, I love that it comes with a detachable carry cot! So handy.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great design and I love that it was simple to put together - others can be so difficult!
ReplyDeleteI think the best prams are the ones that you can do almost anything with, so handy to use it as a carry cot too!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great pram, sturdy and easy to use. Mine had they ame items attached and it was great.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great review. We've had our UPPAbaby Vista for over four years and it's had a lot of use. I love it - but the new model is even better. The adjustable handle was a big plus point for us - hubby is 6ft3in and I'm 5ft0in so it was definitely needed! Love the colour of the one you reviewed :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's a great deal with the price. Looks not complicated to fix and the color is great. Lovely features as well.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great there are blogs like yours that help out other new mums with reviews like this!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely pram! I love the vibrant blue colours. It looks super comfortable for baby too. #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really good pram - the carry cot bit is so handy in those early days! I love our pram (we have a quinny buzz xtra) but I am very jealous of the massive basket you have under this one - ours is quite small which is a pain at times xx #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteLovely pram and love a light weight one that's easy to push. I must admit I have never used the carrycot on either of my prams. But that one looks a great size # justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteLooking at this pram makes me wish to have baby again... it's so well design and I love the color as well. Great Review! #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteGreat review, I really like the look of the pram and the colour is fab!
ReplyDelete#justanotherlinky
Oooohhh I love this pram, so stylish and the carrycot looks great. I loved using mine for my newborn bubba.enjoy not long to go now #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteit's been long time since I needed a pram, but this looks like it would do the job pretty well! I'm quite glad I don't need one now, £699?! is that what prams cost these days! eeeek #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteMy pram days are well over but this sounds great, not long now until you get to do a proper 'road test'! x #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteMy Priam days are over too but do they do a twin version?
ReplyDelete#justanotherlinky
The shopping basket looks bigger than the carry cot! Which is a good thing in my book as they've never been big enough on the ones I've used! #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteHow prams have come on since we needed one! The UPPAbaby Vista looks fantastic and the fact you can vary the handle height is something that would attract me (can you tell my babies are now adults?)...It looks like a strong and sturdy pram that's easy to handle.
ReplyDeletexx
Looks a lovely Pram great review thanks for hosting #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteI love flash of colour on this pram and it looks chunky and sturdy :) #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteI know people that had these - they are nice. Our travel system had a carrycot for newborns too and I loved it - so great for leaving them to sleep when they've fallen asleep while walking, or if you go to visit anyone for the day, as it is safe and comfortable for them. #justanotherlinky
