Siblings {November}

I can't believe we are in November already. This time last year I didn't even know I was pregnant with Freddie, I found out on the 16th when a line finally showed on a test, after many negative home and blood tests. It's been lovely to see the bond of the girls and Freddie growing each month. They are both so different towards him. Mia is the motherly type towards him but Elliw on the other hand, she's still at that age where she doesn't see a danger. She doesn't quite understand you have to be careful with babies. I'm forever trying to tell her to be slowly and not be so heavy handed or in his face.

I've been a Mum of 3 for 4 months now and it's been hard but a little easier than I thought. I do think it'd be easier if I was bottle/formula feeding but I don't regret my decision to breastfeeding Freddie. It's been hard to juggle but I'm not giving up. I knew it wasn't going to a walk in the park but I prepared myself for the challenge.

Mia started Gymnastics a couple of weeks ago and she has loved it. I've been feeling so proud watching her run into the room with full confidence and giving it her all. She is brilliant at doing it and tries her best each week. Elliw's name is down on the list and we are just waiting for there to be space so she can start.

The girls have had a few birthday parties this month and they've got another two parties to attend in the next fortnight. I am also planning Mia's 7th birthday party which feels unreal that I'm going to have a 7 year old daughter. I can't get my head around the fact that she is only 3 years away from being in her double figures. Knowing how fast life goes, it's a scary thought. I am taking it day by day and trying my best to enjoy my time with the kids being young still.

It's been a rollercoaster of a month with the girls' behaviour. Elliw's going through a stage where she laughs at everything. She laughs when she has a row and she will literally stand in front of me and laugh in my face. I've had to bring the naughty chair/quiet chair out the past few weeks as she hasn't listening much at all. Mia's attitude has been pretty hard to deal with this month too. She can be seen as quite bossy but I would say that is just her age. I try and make it fair between them both but when they are clashing with each other, which happens most days, it can be quiet difficult.

The girls had their school Half-Term at the end of October, they enjoyed doing loads of crafts in that week. We also had a lazy week in the house and it was a nice change not having to do the school run and having a routine. Elliw won second place for best Halloween costume at a party and she was so proud of herself.

We haven't had many family adventures this month because we're trying to get the house ready for Christmas, so we have been pretty much busy the past few weekends trying to sort things out. I've still got a few more things to do. I'm hoping coming December, we can plan a few family day outings with the kids before Christmas. We did attend a Firework event on the 4th but we ended up watching them from the car because the rain was too heavy.

I've planned for December's Siblings post to have a photo of the kids each month from January. I can't wait until I have finished and publish the post next month. It's going to be a great post to look back on.
