Festive Menu at Table Table, Morfa Rhuddlan Review

One thing we loved doing as a family is going out for a meal. One of Mia's favourite restaurants is Table Table, so when we told her we were going to Table Table for food, she was over the moon, and she was even more excited when I told her we were having Christmas dinner (her favourite) and pudding. We were all looking forward as we hadn't been out for a meal for a while. We were offered to try out Table Table's festive menu in Morfa Rhuddlan. We have been to a few Table Table restaurants but we had never visited this particular restaurant before, so we were looking forward to trying it out.

I absolutely love Christmas, and I am in the festive mood, so having the chance to try out the festive menu was perfect. I made sure I had a small breakfast, ready for my three course meal. When we arrived, we were greeted by a woman, who I think was the manager and she took us to our table. We had a little mix-up as she hadn't understood my name properly, so we were sent to the wrong table as our table was decorated ready for our festive meal. We offered to move tables, but they were more than happy to bring all the Christmas crackers and Santa hats to the table we were at. After sorting that out, we were asked what we would like to drink, and we then waited for our starters as our meals were pre-booked.

For a starter, my partner and I had prawn cocktail. The portion size was perfect for a starter, and it tasted amazing. My only negative about the started was, the butter was rock solid, which made it difficult to spread on the wholemeal bread. Other than that, the starter was delicious. There wasn't a starter on the child's festive menu, and the girls did complain a bit, so we decided to eat our starter a bit faster, so they didn't have to wait longer.

Our main meal was served around 10-15 minutes later. We all chose the same meal, Turkey dinner. The portion size for adult and child was perfect for us. I don't usually order this kind of meal when I go out to restaurants, but this meal was delicious, and I would definitely order again in future. It took another 10-15 minutes for our pudding to be served after our main meal. The girls had ice cream and a wafer with their choice of sauce, caramel sauce and chocolate sauce. The ice cream is a mince pie flavoured ice cream. My partner chose the lemon cheesecake which was drizzled in cranberry sauce. I chose the Christmas brownie with mince sauce ice cream. The girls really enjoyed their desserts, and my partner said the cheesecake was delicious. The Christmas brownie was also delicious and a perfect pudding to end a festive 3-course meal.

You can visit Table Table and try out their festive menu now. Their festive menu is available all day from 2nd of November until 30th of December 2016. You have a choice from a 2 course meal (£13.49) or a 3 course meal (£16.49). Kids is a 2 course meal for £6.99.

Overall, I would recommend visiting Table Table at Morfa Rhuddlan. The staff were friendly and checked up on us to see if everything was ok with the food. They also came up to see a few times to see if we wanted any top ups with our drinks. We had a warm, welcoming, lovely food and a lovely time. We will visit again in future.
