32 Weeks Pregnancy Update

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING THIS WEEK?
I didn't write my 31 week pregnancy update last week because if I am 100% honest, I was shattered. I was fed up with the hospital appointments and I got a little fed up of blogging. Not so fed up that I wanted to quit though. I just can never get comfortable and after sitting down and waiting for hours and hours in the hospital, I really couldn't bare sitting down for hours on a laptop trying to do work.
For some reason this week has been a tougher week but I have still been blogging and trying my best to catch up on blog work and reach my deadlines with sponsored and guest posts too. I have really struggled this week with tiredness and OC symptoms. I was in hospital on Tuesday for just over 6 hours. It was ridiculous, I understand that they can get very busy but I felt it wasn't that fair I had to wait over two whole hours in a tiny waiting room with a tiny window that wasn't even open. Then it was lucky that I had gone up to ask the midwife how long I would have to wait because her response seemed like she had no idea I was there.
We also went for a 4D babybond scan in Chester which was just amazing. It was really worth the money and we are so glad we went. We also got to take the girls with us.
HOW I AM FEELING
As I said above, I am feeling really tired this week. I had bad nights on Friday and Saturday. Elliw waking up in the middle of the night and extremely early and earlier each morning. I also had a sleepless night Sunday night due to OC and haven't been good since.
APPOINTMENTS
I had my appointment for CTG and bloods on Tuesday. It was a long day. I am missing Friday because I felt like I needed one break from the hospital and plus I didn't have to stress over babysitters.
OBSTETRIC CHOLESTASIS
Some of my bloods have risen. The itch has come back and it's making me feel very uncomfortable, upset and really stressed. My emotions are all over the place. It's also making me quite ill too. On Sunday night I only had 2 hours sleep. The 2 hours I had to sleep, Elliw woke me up around 6-7am and so from then on I was very itchy and could not get back to sleep. I have been able to sleep the nights after this but waking up every now and then itching and waking up early.
BABY BOY
MOVEMENTS - He moves a lot still. There are a few hours during the day where he is really lazy and sometimes I think of phoning up but right that minute he starts kicking me hard again!
SYMPTOMS
- Restless legs
- Uncomfortable
- Tiredness
SLEEPING
I am finding very hard to get comfortable in bed at the moment and especially with itching it is making it worse.
CRAVINGS
Ice lollies!

Oh I hope you get some rest soon, sounds really trying.
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to get some rest soon, blogging is a choice and if you don't feel like you want to do it, don't feel like you need to justify yourself. I'm sure you've got a lot more on your mind.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be worth it in the end!
Oh dear, sorry to hear you've been feeling tired! Hopefully you'll manage to get some rest soon. All the best! x

ReplyDeleteWow sorry you feel so tired. Just hang in there. You are almost there.
ReplyDeleteI often think back on my pregnancies with rose tinted glasses but then I read something like this and realise that at the time it is exhausting. I don't miss the leg cramps I used to get at 4am.
ReplyDeleteLove your bump photo, stunning. I hope you get some rest soon!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some much needed rest this week! I love seeing your bump grow x
ReplyDeleteOh no hun sorry to hear that your itching is bad and that you are having barely any sleep. AS for having to wait six hours in the hospital that is so bad and I can see why you did not have the energy to blog.
ReplyDeleteOh man I am sorry about your itching, I am sure it is driving you absolutely bonkers *hugs* x
ReplyDeleteOh bless you the itching is still bad huh? I'm so sorry Beth, that is rubbish! I always found that I was so exhausted at the beginning of a pregnancy (first 0-16 weeks) and then exhausted again from 30 weeks plus... it's so tough with little ones too! H x
ReplyDeleteYou're nearly there!!!!!! Sorry to hear about the itching but it's not that much longer now hun.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck for getting in as much rest as you can! I had an awful pregnancy but once your little one is here it'll slowly be a distant memory (ish!). Take care!
