Blog Reading, Tempers and A New Layout #LittleLoves

This week we started a new routine with Freddie. We have been putting him upstairs in his crib to sleep in the evenings instead of settling him downstairs in his bouncer before taking him up to his crib when we are ready for bed. It was a big step for me as I am just in denial that my last baby is growing up. This week has also been full of challenges. Mia's behaviour has been awful, she actually got me into tears at the start of the week, outside! As the week went by her behaviour started to get better slowly, thank god.

Here is what we have loved this week;

I've read a lot of blogs again this week. Every now and then I get in the mood for wanting to read new blogs and read my favourite blogs too. I haven't read as much as I'd like too though because I've got so much work this week but I've read quite a few whilst feeding Freddie and in the evenings.

I've loved watching Celebrity Big Brother this week. It's been crazy since Kim entered the house. How can a woman of that age be so damn rude? My favourite to win this series is Spencer and Heidi. I really thought I wouldn't like them, but I love them. Another programme I've been watching is Ex on the beach. I started watching it last year, and I loved it, but I'm finding it hard to enjoy it when I don't know anyone in this series.

Freddie has always been clingy to me since day one really, and I do believe a lot of it is because I breastfeed because neither of the girls was this clingy with me when they were babies. Although he's been clingy since he was born, I should be used to it by now, but recently I've been feeling like I can't do many things without being interrupted (parenthood though eh?). Especially in the evenings, he just likes his cuddles constantly from around 5 pm onwards. He will be happy in his chair or jumperoo sometimes in the evening but not often. He won't be this little for long, though, so I shouldn't complain.

I also bought Freddie a hat and a gorgeous knitted romper from Knitty Knatty Laura before Christmas and the items arrived this week and I've fallen in love! He hasn't worn the romper yet but look how gorgeous his new knitted hat is;

When Freddie was born, I decided to use one of my favourite photos as my header, but as months have come by, I've been thinking that I've never really had a 'logo' for my blog. Nothing that stands out. So, I decided to make my own header, and I think it's turned out ok. Would love some opinions on it, though. I've also got a brand new theme for my blog, and I think I much prefer it grid style instead of the previous look.

Mia! Arguing and her attitude! At the beginning of the week, she has become a nightmare. I've noticed she seems to get into these moods at the beginning of the week and then she soon calms down to the end of the week. I'm not too sure what the reason behind it is, but she really does a mouth on her. I've been called all sorts this week, and I do wish she would calm her attitude down a bit.

We've planned to sort out the whole house, again, over the weekend. So I've sorted the kitchen cupboards out and realised I had many tin food out of date since 2014 and 2015. Embarrassing to say I had no idea that spices and seasonings had an out of date! Oops. I did own over 20 or so, but now I only have 3 because all the others were out of date from 2014 and 2015 - oops!

  2. Oh how cute does your little one look in his new hat! He's gorgeous! Ha ha I do the same in my cupboards every so often. I'm sure that everything hides as my cupboards always seem to be empty and then I find loads of out of date stuff. Hope Mia gives you less hassle this week. Hope you've all had a good weekend!
