I love baking cakes and when I bought the Giant Cupcake mould a few weeks ago I really couldn't wait to try it out. The picture above is the 2nd giant cupcake I have done. It is very easy! Much easier than I thought it would be. The one shown above was Elliw's Birthday cake for her 2nd birthday.
You need:
Giant Cupcake Mould which you can buy here.
250g Self Raising Flour
200g Butter.
200g Caster Sugar.
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract.
3 Eggs.
Method:
Beat the butter and caster sugar together.
Add in the vanilla extract, eggs and sifted self raising flour.
Remember to pre-heat the oven at 160 - 190.
Mix everything until smooth and creamy.
Separate the batter in each mould.
Roughly 30-40 minutes or maybe more.
For the filling you can have anything you fancy, chocolate, jam or buttercream.
The buttercream icing on top is very easy to decorate, all you have to do is get a decent icing gun and do the circle shapes and make sure there are no gaps.
If you decide to do this or if you have any other cake baking recipes I would love to take a look - put your link below in the comments.
