MUMMY & MIA

Saturday night I decided to keep Mia awake after putting Elliw to bed. My partner was out working on taxies so I thought it was the perfect evening to have a girly night in with Mia. I bought some chocolate, biscuits and chocolate eclairs for us both to eat whilst we watch the film Annie but most of the food ended up in the bin! The film got turned off half way through too because Mia wasn't interested and if I am honest I was very disappointed in it and just couldn't stop comparing it to the original Annie. So if you really like the original Annie I would advise you not to buy the new one.

Even though most of the night Mia decided she wanted to play on the iPad and wasn't interested in watching TV it was really nice just knowing it was just the two of us awake. Mia is in school full time so we don't really get mother and daughter time just me and Mia, like how me and Elliw do every day. No one offers to take Elliw on school holidays for me to spend a day or a few hours with Mia so it's only in the evenings I can do it and I really enjoyed myself. We ended up going to bed 11.30pm! Safe to say we were both shattered the next morning. Mia slept in until 9AM and Elliw woke up 6.30am as usual and don't forget the 3 times I had to wake up in the middle of the night too.

  1. Great that you had mummy and daughter time. Not sure I'd have kept Caitlin up that late. She's normally flagging by about 8:30 and is a stroppy little so and so the next day otherwise. #MyFavouritePost

  2. Ah it's lovely to have a bit of one on one time with your children isn't it? It's so precious to have time with either of my babies on their own, I love it. x

  4. It must have been lovely to have some one on one time with Mia even though the film was quite what you'd hoped for. Thanks for linking up with #myfavouritepost
