Last week my friend, Catriona came down to visit me with Osian {my nephew}. We had a pretty much chilled 2 hours before we went to pick Elliw up from playschool and then we decided to visit a public park close to a town near me. You may have read my previous post when I went to the same place with my partner, Mia and Elliw for a family picnic. I made a packed lunch for us all to have once we got there, so it was another picnic out which was nice because Osian and Elliw were well behaved.
Osian loved getting close to the water but wasn't happy when Catriona was telling him that he has to hold hands {was pretty funny but cute!}. It's lovely seeing him grow up and how he is wanting to do things himself now. It's lovely. He loved seeing the ducks and throwing leafs and bread into the water for them. We walked a bit more and we ended up in the park. The kids played for about 10 minutes before we sat down for lunch. It was a lovely day because it was only us there, it was quiet and the sun was out. We decided to go after an hour or so. We decided to have a walk along the otherside of the lake as it took you all the way around to the entrance.
looks like a good day. Its nice to just get out and enjoy some fresh air every once in a while
