Monthly Round Up | May

I am a little late doing this post but better late than never, right? May has been quite a busy month and I really can't believe it is over! Where have the weeks gone?! It was also half term which we had a lot of fun and was pretty much busy most days of that week.

We all had a lovely Bank Holiday at my Grandparents' house. We spent most of the day there and the day consisted of, jumping, running, football, hula hoops, handstands, biscuits and laughter. It really was a lovely day.

My Dad, Brother, Nephew, Elliw and myself went to a place called Dinas Dinlle which is a lovely place to walk along the beach and there are swings there too which Elliw and my nephew loved. Again, that day was full of laughter.

Mia and myself had a lovely evening together. Filled with chocolate, biscuits, cuddles and a film. I don't get to spend much time with Mia by myself so it was nice to keep her up for a change.

We were given some Mystery Bulbs from Spalding Bulbs so we decided to have a morning of gardening. We all really enjoyed it even though neither of us really knew what we were doing, but we had fun!

I have baked a few times in May which I don't usually do. I made some Welsh cakes and even though they look burnt they were quite tasty. They weren't too bad for the first. Check out my recipe here.

During the half term holidays I took the girls for a walk on a cycle track near where I live. I haven't written about it yet but keep an eye out for the post soon! I have many photos to share with you all. It was a fun walk!

Again in Half Term we went for another walk with my Dad and my little brother. Mia had gone to her Dad's on the day we decided to go out for a forest walk. It was a really nice day.

  1. Sounds like you have had a brilliant month with lots of things happening :) Lots of outdoorsy things too. It'll be pretty interesting to see what those mystery bulbs had - a nice thing to wait and see, so hopefully they will grow nicely :) I love that first picture of your little one by the way, she looks adorable and so happy in it. Thanks for linking to #mymonthlyroundup!

  2. Sounds like you had a lovely month. Love Welsh cakes, will need to get baking at some point! Heard really good things about Dinas Dinlle, worth a visit? It's only down the A55 from us and sounds lovely for a daytrip. Love the pictures, they're so lovely! x

  4. Nothing wrong with a well-done Welsh Cake! And I like the idea of mystery bulbs, unless they turned out to be light bulbs, which wouldn't be nearly as funny as it sounds! ;-)
