15 Weeks Pregnancy Update

I can not believe I am 15 weeks pregnant already! You may have seen my gender reveal post last weekend. So you may know that I am carrying my first little boy. I am super excited! We went for our 3D gender scan on the 30th of Jan when I was 14 weeks 5 days pregnant and it was very obvious that he was a little boy, lets just say he wasn't shy, at all!
There hasn't been a lot of difference this week, compared to last week. I have felt more itching coming on, so I can really tell that OC is on it's way. I've had some good days and some bad days. Mia hasn't been behaving very well, so I am stressing out a bit too much which isn't good. But i'll be fine!
How do you feel? There have been days where I have struggled getting out of bed because I feel so ill in the mornings. I am starting to slowly struggle to move whilst in bed, either because baby is on a nerve or because I find it uncomfortable in certain positions BUT this is nothing to complain about right now, as it is only going to get worse, isn't it? As said above, I have been stressed because of Mia's behaviour but hopefully she will just calm down and get out of this phase. I've had days where I just have no energy and just want to crawl to bed because I feel so tired, but I can't! So early nights it is.
Gender of baby? A baby BOY!
Weight Loss? If I am honest it's the second week now where I haven't been on plan. I have had some meals on plan but most haven't been. I haven't really been snacking in between, so I guess that is good. But I really need to get back onto plan. I am still going to my local SW group though.
What have you been up to? I have my 3D gender scan on Saturday when I was 14 weeks 5 days pregnant. The scan revealed I was having my first baby boy, which I am so excited about. We celebrated my partners birthday on Wednesday and that's been it really.
Cravings? No not really.
Clothes? I usually wear two leggings when I go out because they are too thin so you can see through, and cold! It's been really uncomfortable wearing the two leggings in the past week or so. I have managed to buy myself some maternity leggings from Vertbaudet online as there weren't any my size anywhere else.
Any Signs of OC yet? Yes there is. Itch is starting to come more intense but not constant so I can cope with it.

You must have been excited when you had the scan. It's amazing how technology can tell you so early what gender the baby is.
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing that you can find out at 14 weeks the sex of your baby! We don't have the option of 3D scans in my area and have to wait until the 20 week anatomy scan if we want to find out. Congratulations on adding a boy to your family, I'm sure everyone will love having a little brother!
ReplyDeleteHi! I´expecting my second boy, with only a few weeks to go now.I find it amazing how different my second pregnancy has been, so I can imagine your third and a different sex is a whole different feeling again. You will love having a boy, it´s the most amazing experience x #picknmixfriday

Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy! Xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWow, 15 weeks already! Time flies, doesn't it? I am curious about doing Slimming World while pregnant. I am currently doing SW for weight loss and health and because I'd like to be at a better place to get pregnant with less complications do to overweightness but was wondering a week ago how SW works with pregnancy. I mean, if you reach target and then get pregnant, how do they measure your actual weight gain and would you have to start paying again. Don't know if this is what you have done, or do you not weigh in because you are pregnant? How does it work for you? :)
ReplyDelete3D scans were just starting to become affordable when we had our son a decade ago and I still love them today! Good luck in your journey.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your news! Wow that is so cool you could find out the gender so early! How did you manage that, was it a private scan? I'm 19 weeks pregnant at the mo, and got my gender scan at 21 weeks - I seriously cannot wait!

ReplyDeleteTwo pairs of leggings is such a smart idea, I was just flashing my knickers to every tom, dick and harry by the end as mine had become so stretched out! lol
ReplyDeleteExciting that you're expecting a baby boy. They're brilliant fun. I'd never heard of the 2 pairs of leggings idea, bit like the 2 pairs of pants - one under and over tights.

Thanks for your informative article. I reckon 3d ultrasound Melbourne and 4d ultrasound Melbourne scan is best option to determine the early child health.
