This is my 3rd week of #weeklymoments. I am really enjoying talking about the most important things that have happened during the week. I always struggled sticking to saying what I did every single day, or a photo a day as I would always forget. This week is all about the kicks, hospital visit and family time.
Kicks
My partner finally felt Baby boy kick for the first time on Tuesday night whilst we were in bed! Baby boy's kicks are so hard now and I can feel him stretching and moving so much during the day and evenings now. Before it was mostly the early morning or evenings. I have noticed he doesn't move or kick as much when there are loud noises but loves kicking and moving around when it is quiet. He will have to change that around when he arrives because my girls are not quiet, ha ha.
Family Time
On Monday afternoon, after the kids finished school we went to stay in Premier Inn in Manchester near the airport. We were picking up my partners parents the following morning, so we thought it would be a nice change to go and stay in a hotel for the night so they can see the girls when we picked them up. We arrived around 6.30 then we went out for food in a restaurant near the hotel. The food was lovely and we all had such a lovely time. The girls took a while to sleep but they went off eventually and slept in until 7 - 7.30am. We are planning to take them to Liverpool for a two night stay before the baby arrives, so I am looking forward to that too.
When we arrived back home the following day, the weather was so beautiful! It was pretty warm and the sun was shinning. My partner and I thought it would be a great idea to take the girls out seeing as my partner had the day off and it was a nice day. We decided to visit a place near us called Glynllifon Park. We didn't stay long because Mia had a massive tantrum as she did not want to walk and she wanted to stay in the park and then constantly moaning. Which was a real shame but later on we went to go look for a new car and then to visit my partners parents as the girls wanted to see them.
Hospital
You may have seen my post the other day about me being diagnosed with Obstetric Cholestasis. I am quite gutted I have it again and I am really not looking forward to the day the itching gets really bad. I can get my bloods taken in my local clinic up until 28 weeks and from then onward I have to go to hospital to get my bloods done. It looks like through this pregnancy I will be in and out of hospital. I have a consultant date and another scan date on the 12th of May too. We will see how it all goes! Hopefully it will make things feel faster.
That's so nice you had an over night at the Premier Inn. I love getting away with the kids, even if it's just for a night or two - it's a lovely break for everyone! It's lovely the girls can feel the baby kicks now, so exciting! #JustAnotherLinky x
ReplyDeleteThats such a magical moment when baby's kicks can be shared. The Cholestasis sounds awful, I hope it's not too bad this time.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had documented my pregnancies more, hope things are ok with the hospital.

ReplyDeleteSuch a shame that you have Obstetric Cholestasis again but when your baby comes it will all be worth it. Sounds like a fun hotel stay, it's always nice for a change of scenery x

ReplyDeleteAwww, the first time your partner gets to feel the baby move is so amazing. I think that's when it started feeling "real" to my husband.
ReplyDeleteLovely post and photos. It's a shame you have OC again, but hopefully you can still enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. I love family time, although I've learnt myself that kids are unpredictable at times! x
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely when everyone else can start to feel the kicks. It makes it all the more real for everyone and the bond start to develop. That was a nice idea to stay in a hotel overnight before the airport pick up. I love staying in hotels x
