Just a couple of months ago I was sent the Evolution Pro 2 car seat from KiddyUK. The first thing that caught my eye was the look of this stunning car seat. It is totally different to what I have had previously with my two girls. It's a modern and very safe car seat, which is something you need in a car seat these days. I am going to be writing future posts about the Evolution Pro 2 Infant Car Seat but in today's post I will be talking about my first thoughts and letting you know a bit more about this lovely car seat.
When the car seat was delivered I was super excited to see what the Evolution Pro 2 looked like in person. When I took the car seat out of the box I did find it a little heavy but I was expecting it to be heavier, so I was pleased with that. I was very pleased with how the car seat looked and how much padding there was in the seat. It looks really comfortable and I can not wait until Baby boy can try it out.
The Evolution Pro 2 Infant Car Seat is suitable from birth to 15 months {weight: 0-13kg}. The car seat has a head support which is for newborn babies and it helps keep them in the correct position in the seat and the three point harness as padded harness pads which keeps baby safe and comfortable. The great thing I thought about this car seat is, if you pull back the handle then the car seat goes into a lie down position, which is perfect for baby who wants to sleep and it is much safer for baby to lie down that crouch up in a car seat.
I was surprised with how big the hood was. It is ideal when the sun is out on a hot day but is also great for a windy day as it will keep the wind away. I have not tried this car seat in the car yet but I will talk about that on another post when baby arrives. There is also a Kiddy Isofix Base that you can use if your car has Isofix. There are 14 colours to choose from, which is a great choice as many other car seats only have one or so choices of colours. The dimensions of this car seat is: H44 x W66 x D62. Weight approx 4.5kg.
The Evolution Pro 2 Infant Car Seat can also fit on a pushchair chassis. KiddyUK sell their own pushchairs but also the Car Seat fits on other frames too, which you can check on their website here.
Overall, I am very pleased with this car seat and it's going to have a lot of use once baby boy arrives. I have already had good words said about this car seat from friends and family. I am pleased with how safe this shell shaped car seat is and looks. It looks very comfortable for a baby with it's head support and inlays. I love how this car seat grows with the child from birth all the way up to 15 months. You can take the newborn head support from the seat as your child grows.
You can purchase the KiddyUK Evolution Pro 2 Infant Car Seat for just £149.99 which I think is a reasonable price. Keep an eye out for future posts about this great car seat.
I was given this item free of charge in return of an honest review {and other posts}.
All photos, words and opinions are my own, as always.

ReplyDeleteThis definitely sounds like a good one. It's nice that it has a reclining position!
ReplyDeleteKids things are so expensive but i think the price for this car seat is reasonable and it looks strong, good quality that it can be reused for another baby.
ReplyDeleteThis looks very stylish! I don't have kids nor a car but recently watched a documentary exposing companies lack of compliance when it comes to safety regulations for car seas in particular so I understand the importance of purchasing the correct one.
