My Interest In Photography

Ever since I was in high school I was interested in taking photos. I would always be the one with a camera but it is only until a few years ago I started to take a lot of interest in taking photos of landscapes and anything else that interested me. When I had my first daughter, Mia I am sure I took a photo daily and again when Elliw was born. It was around 3 years ago, roughly the time I started my blog that I really took it seriously. Looking back at my photos 3 or so years ago, they were terrible and pretty embarassing but I do think my photos have improved a lot within the 3 years and I am looking at buying a new camera next year to up my game a bit.

I think it is so important to capture as many photographs as you can. My Taid has a full cupboard of old photo albums and a couple of times he has sat down with me looking through them and I just find it so interesting. I have printed many of my photos and sticking them into photo albums and hope that one day in future I can sit down with my children or grand-children and look through the photos together.

It was only until I started blogging that I had started editing some of photos, some didn't need editing as they looked perfectly fine untouched. I do love it when people have complimented my photos of landscapes and photos of the girls. It pushes me to do even better and I know I can do better than what I am. I would love to take a photography course one day to improve my photography skills and take it further.

My passion for taking photos has become more and more each year. I don't think it will ever go away. I don't want to miss a thing as the girls are growing up. You can never go back in time but you can always look back at the photos and think of all the memories that day. I think it is so important to capture life.

Years ago we would have to take the cameras to a shop to get the photos printed as there was no other way to have the photos otherwise. Now days it's all a bit easier, we just upload the photos on the laptop and print which ever ones we want printing. A 13 inch laptop would be great to view your photos, it's just the perfect size for viewing them before printing. I have 1000's of photos on my laptop and I do plan to print all of them one day and stick into albums but I do plan to stick them all on a USB stick too as this world is getting very modern all about technology.
