When it comes to car seat, my partner and I really take a look sizes and safety. As we have three kids, we like to have seats that aren't too big because we want all three seats to fit in the car comfortably. Although we have a 7 seater, the kids travel in their grandparent's cars too, and so we have to think of that also. When we were sent the Bubble Bum inflatable booster seat, I couldn't wait to see it in person. I have seen it online and read a few good reviews about the seat, but if I am honest, I wasn't 100% convinced myself that it was a safe seat.
When it arrived, it was folded in a cardboard, colourful box. We were given the Union Jack seat, and Mia absolutely loved it and still does. It didn't take too long to blow up, and it's really light. We used the seat for the first time to travel to Haven when we celebrated Freddie's birthday weekend. She sat in the middle between Freddie and Elliw. She had tons of space and wasn't squished between them. I was surprised at how space saving, light, and safe the booster seat was. When deflated, you can fold it and keep it in a bag that comes with the booster.
For the price, it's very reasonable. As we are planning on revisiting Thailand in a couple of years and hopefully somewhere else too, this booster seat will definitely be coming with us. It's the perfect size fit in a suitcase. Not just for travelling abroad, it's perfect if someone else is taking the kids out for the day or overnight. You don't have to worry about carrying big bulky carseats from car-to-car. Once a carseat is strapped into our car, I hate having to unstrap it and strap it in another car all over again. There's no fuss with Bubble Bum, and I would really recommend this booster seat.
