FAMILY GAME - PIKYKWIKY LINKIT - REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

Something I always cherish is times when we're all together making memories. Every now and then we will all have a get together and play a game, whether it's a board game, card game or a guessing game such as 'I spy' or 'Who am I?'. Now that the girls are older they do seem to make their own rules as they and sometimes even make up their own games which can be hilarious at times. The girls' favourite games are board and card games. So, when the new start-up company PikyKwiky got in contact to see if we would be interested in reviewing their brand new (and first product) game, LinkIt, I was really interested to see what it was all about.

Their game LinkIt is a game for the whole family to enjoy and it helps develop perception and language skills in children - something I always like in a game is when they help children in learning new things but in a fun way. My eldest, Mia is really competitive, so this game was brilliant for her as she always likes to win. Elliw is slowly getting to the stage where she likes to win games too. There can be 2-6 players to play LinkIt which is perfect for small and big families. The pack of cards come in a small rounded tin - ideal for keeping away and not taking too much space either.

Each card has many pictures, and you have to be quick to link the pictures to each card. For example, there could be a wheel on one card which can link up to a bike. Another could be some laces linking up with a shoes. It's all about fast thinking and linking. It's enjoyable, and my partner and I have even played this game while the kids have been in bed - so it's not just for kids either. We're really competitive with each other when it comes to winning, and we honestly had so much fun. It took a while to get used to but as you carry on playing you get into the swing of it, and you do get quicker each time. Also, as you can see from the photo below that, there are many images on each card, which makes the game harder but more interesting too.
