Christmas is such an exciting time of the year for most of us, especially for the kids. Each year the girls have more of understanding about Christmas and are even more excited as each year passes by. They love writing letters and drawing pictures for Santa and have done for the past few years. However, something I've not been able to do is keep them as they send them away. I have taken pictures of some, but the photos are lost somewhere in the thousands of albums that I have on my laptop. I always thought it would be so lovely to have a book or some box to keep all their letters to Santa, as it can be something we can look back at in years to come. Also by seeing how much their writing and interests have changed too.
When I was sent the First Letters of Christmas book to review, the first thing that came to my mind was the amazing quality and effort that has gone into the book. It's so beautiful, and each page has some wonderful illustrations. As well as space for your child to write a letter to Santa. Not only can they write a letter to Santa and send it away, but there's also a card behind the top letter, so you can keep one copy of the letter in the book. A beautiful keepsake for the years to come.
I'm already looking forward to seeing what the girls write each year and being able to read them throughout the year or each year as they write their new one. The book is amazing quality and such a wonderful keepsake. The book is written by Roque Fernandez, and you can read more about his story here.

Wow, what a lovely way to keep hold of those letters. It will be fun for your kids to look back on too (when they're older.)
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful looking book and a lovely idea. I now feel sad about all the letters lost but want to start keeping them now.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a beautiful keepsake and I know what you mean, I've taken photos of Lily's letters so far or bunged them through the photocopier, this seems like a wonderful alternative xx

ReplyDeleteThat seems like a brilliant idea to make good memories. It looks very much like a Harry Potter book, maybe because of the font.
