5 Special Ways To Treat Your Partner

Being a parent means you are putting most of your time and effort to your children. That's from getting them ready for the school run, making sure their clean, fed, entertained and happy. It sounds simple as I'm writing it, but in reality, it's exhausting. Don't get me wrong, being a parent is one of the best things ever, but it's also the most challenging things too. When you wake up, you never know what kind of day you're going to have - a good day or a bad day, maybe something in the middle? There's always some kind of challenge.
Having put all your effort and time into your children, you don't spend much time to yourself. It's always a good idea to make sure that you treat yourself or let your partner, or even a friend, treat you. It doesn't have to be a Mother's Day gift or your birthday. It doesn't have to be any kind of special occasion. Any ordinary day will do, showing someone how much they are appreciated with everything they do can pick them up while they're feeling low. Sometimes a little 'pick me up' is what we all need, a little appreciation goes a long way.
If you have a partner or a friend who need a little pick me up, here are a few ways you could show them some appreciation:
Make a Hamper
Giving a hamper full of the person's favourite goodies will most definitely put a smile on their face. Add their favourite candle, sweets, chocolate or even a voucher for their favourite shop or a spa day. You don't have to go all out and spend loads on a ready-made hamper, you can easily do this yourself by buying a nice little basket, then adding their favourite bits into it.
Flowers
Why not send roses to their door? I'm sure most people would love a surprise gift at the door, even better receiving some beautiful roses. That's a great thing these days that you can order gifts online that will go straight to their door.
Day Off
Treat them to a 'day off' parenting. Of course, we will never have a complete full day off parenting as the kids are always on our minds, wherever we go. But booking a spa day, cinema date or a date night somewhere would be a lovely thing to do. Spend time together and show her/him how much you appreciate them.
Nice Hot Bath
Fill the bathtub, put candles around and let your partner go to the bath in peace, while you're taking care of the kids.
Do you treat your partner other than special occasions?
