An Adventure with Cosatto

When Monday comes, I count the days for it to be Friday all over again. Mainly because it's the last day of the week and it's the start to the weekend. My partner is off on the weekend, and it's lovely for us all to spend time together. Mia goes to her Dad's one night a week, one weekend she will go Friday evening until Saturday evening, the following weekend she will go Saturday morning until Sunday evening, so on the weekend she is only with us every other Sunday. I wish there was a way that she could spend more time with us on the weekend but I guess that's just what happens when you're co-parenting. On the Sundays that she is with us we try and make the most of it.
Most weekends we will go out and make memories with the kids, one of my favourite things to do. Whether it is a walk down our local cycle track or travelling by car to a beach, a park or somewhere lovely to go for a walk. We always try and visit different places and spend the whole day at wherever we go. I've written a summer bucket list which I hope to achieve by September, and I'm so excited to tick them all off and write about our summer memories at the end of August. It's really scary how fast this year has flown by.

The kids absolutely love travelling by car. Mia is like me, she is happy to sit and look through the window watching everything go by. Whereas Elliw loves to talk, sing and talk even more. When Freddie was born, he used to cry a lot, but for the past few months, he has been really good in the car. He's like his big sister, happy looking through the window, along with some babbling too. He's had a brand new seat from Cosatto recently, and I absolutely love it. When Cosatto contacted us a few weeks ago, I was really excited to choose a car seat for Freddie. He's slowly growing out of his baby seat and knew it was time to get a bigger one ready for him. Cosatto has a good range of carseats from birth all the way up to 12 years. I was tempted to go for the Toddler carseat which is suitable from 9 months to approx 4 years. However, seeing as Freddie is a big boy for his age, I felt it was better to get the Zoomy carseat

"The Daddy of all carseats", the Zoomy is great if you're looking for a carseat to last you a good few years as it's suitable from 9 months up to approx 12 years old. There's a 5 point plus anti-escape system harness which makes it extra safe for you and the child. Perfect for the little ones who love to try and escape from their seats. The bright yellow straps have padding on which make it comfortable for your child and it also has padding for their tummies and chest. The seat was really easy to install and you can fit it in the forward or rear seat. There are many different bright coloured patterns to choose from such as monsters, unicorns, rainbow colours and more. I love how bright and unique Cosatto are and that's why they've always been one of my favourite baby brands.

Over the weekend we went out to a local farm to pick our own strawberries, and you can watch what we did over the weekend here. Before picking our own strawberries, we went out for food to a pub in Anglesey which was lovely. We love to try out different places each time we go out. Elliw and Freddie were well behaved, and usually, Elliw would throw a few tantrums here and there, but this weekend she was good as gold. It made the weekend even better and full of laughter. We haven't much planned next weekend as the following weekend we will be heading off to Haven for Freddie's first birthday. We're all so excited!
