I came across some old photos the other week and I found photos of Elliw's first Summer in 2012. Mia was 3 years old, the same age as what Elliw is now. It was our first Summer in our new {2nd} private rented house and our first Summer living together as a family. Our garden was at the end of a school field so we only went to the back when the school kids weren't on their break/lunch break. It was a hot Summer. Elliw could pick her head up and roll over but couldn't do anything else so she was pretty frustrated! I remember that Summer more than I remember 2013 and 2014. Maybe because it was Elliw's first Summer? I'm not sure.

Summer 2012 was the time Mia slept in a 'big girl bed' for the first time too. She had also started playschool in 2012. There are a lot of memories from 2012. It's pretty mad thinking and looking back at photos. I hadn't even started my blog until the following year. We went for a lot of walks and met up with a few good friends. It's a pitty I hardly do anything with those friends now.

These photos were taken from last week. It was a lovely hot week. The temperature even went as high as 22 degrees, which is quite warm/hot for us! It was for me anyway. We went for a few walks. We took a walk to the park after school one day to meet with a friend and her two sons. The girls really enjoyed themselves and I enjoyed myself too having a catch up with a friend. Half way through the walk we spotted some horses {Mia's favourite animals}. They were both very interested in the horses!
Summer 2015 will be the first Summer spent in my new home with my family. It's a been a year since Elliw started playschool and starting part-time school in September. Mia will be heading into year 1 in September too! Where has the time gone?!
