I honestly can not believe I am writing this. This time last year me, my partner, his parents and my girls were on holiday in Thailand. I remember sitting down on the sofa in my partners, parents house in Thailand and just thinking about how will my life be a year on. I honestly thought we would be going back to Thailand this year, again. But how wrong was I?! I am now 16 weeks pregnant with my third baby.

Although I am super happy to be expecting my first son, it does make me sad to how fast a year can fly by. It just makes me think that this time next year my baby boy will be nearly 1 years old, Mia will be 7 and Elliw will nearly be 5! Time really does go too fast.

I remember everything about the flight going to Thailand, where we went in Thailand and everything about our 3 week holiday. It was so amazing and no words can actually describe how much I loved being there. My girls enjoyed themselves so much and it was really nice seeing their faces with a huge smile. They were so excited going on their very first holiday abroad.

I remember feeling really nervous a week or so before the holiday because I wasn't quite sure how the girls were going to be on the plane with the flight being so long. I really didn't need to worry. They were both amazing, there and back. Nothing to complain about, they were both good as gold. I was so excited letting them experience 'another world'.

Thailand is so different to the UK. I had noticed that in Hua Hin, Thailand, people were either 'rich' or 'poor'. They had lovely houses, or shacks on streets. I must admit seeing the shacks/sheds on the streets was so interesting. I get really interested when I see how other people live. Everything was so different. There was a Tesco there but it was called Tesco Metro, there was also a convenient store called Seven Eleven which we went to often if not, daily! The restaurants are so different to this country. It's not four walls like this country, it is all open because the weather is so hot.

The heat, the smell, the atmosphere, the people, the shops, the food, everything is different. The food is Thailand is amazing. Before visiting Thailand I was never really into trying different foods. But after visiting Thailand I was more interested in trying out new things, especially Thai food. I am a huge fan of Green Thai Chicken curry.

We all had such a fantastic experience there. We all had the experience to ride an elephant (elephants were looked after in a charity hospital). Mia got the fantastic experience to play football with a baby elephant too! We managed to see a few places and do a few things whilst we were there. The next time we go, I would love to do a bit more things and explore it more.

Me and my partner spent every day in the outside pool and we even managed to learn Elliw to swim! She wasn't so sure at the start but after a few days, she loved it. One thing I had noticed about Thai people was they loved my girls. You would hear them go 'awww' or say something in Thai. Many people asked for photos and selfies with them. Which I didn't mind. I knew why. They were blonde, young and white. The girls loved all the attention!

To think the next time we visit Thailand we will be going with a little boy!

  6. Oh wow, you are brave taking the kids so far away on a plane! But you've actually made me feel reassured about going away with Abbie now, as long as we have the iPad, I'm sure she will be fine! It is crazy how fast time goes, I'm struggling to cope with having a four year old this year, 4! It was just yesterday I was in labour, still it makes me want to live life to the full and to never take anything for granted! X

  8. Oh my gosh what a once in a life time holiday experience and so special to do this with your children. I used to live overseas and my husband is South American so I'm really looking forward to introducing my kids to a totally new country and culture (when they are a little bit older).
