A Cold Winter Walk in Llanfairfechan

I love going out for walks and taking the kids out to different places. There are so many places to visit in North Wales, and my favourite kind of places to visit are the ones with the breathtaking scenery. It's quite easy to find somewhere around here that has stunningly beautiful views. On Saturday we decided to go out for a walk after the rain had stopped. Mia was in her Dad's so it was just my partner, Elliw, Freddie and myself. We had thought of asking my Taid to come, but he was busy.

We decided to visit a place called Llanfairfechan. A word that's probably quite hard for someone to pronounce if they don't speak welsh. It's a little village and has a stunningly beautiful sea-front. There is a beach, but I've never actually gone there just to the beach, and we visit there to go for a walk and take the kids to the park. We decided to walk towards the woods but eventually had to turn back because Elliw was getting fed up and moaning a lot. However, we did walk a fair distance, and the fresh-air did us all good.

One thing I love about walking is appreciating where we live and also talking without being on our phones. When we go out for a walk, we play games with the kids such as 'I spy' and so on. Elliw jumped in a lot of big muddy puddles and then got fed up because she managed to get water into her wellie boots. My partner and I had chats about upcoming holidays we're planning and trying to think where we should visit this year and next. It was just a lovely day and put us all in a good mood for the rest of the day.

I have written other posts about visiting Llanfairfechan, which you can visit here;
