FUN FAMILY GAMES THIS CHRISTMAS

Christmas for me is a time to spend with family and close ones. It's my favourite time of year, and I feel incredibly lucky that I'm able to spend Christmas and boxing day with my loved ones. On Christmas Day I will be at home for the first time ever, spending it with my partner and the kids. Later on, my partner's parents are coming over to spend the rest of the day with us. On Boxing Day, we are going to my grandparent's house to spend the day with my family, and we're all really looking forward to it. It's a time of year where we can all catch up with each other, have fun and play games. My favourite kind of games is board games. Here are a few fun family games you could play this Christmas;

The Very Merry Christmas
Your family are bound to have lots of fun playing this game, and I can't wait for us to play it on Christmas day. It's aimed for 8+ years to adult which means everyone can get involved. It's a game for 2 to 4 players. Here's a bit more information about the game:
"All players’ presents are placed face down in the stocking so nobody knows what they’ve got, but there are opportunities to take a sneaky look to find out which ones to get rid of and which ones to keep. Land on the singing space and you have to sing a verse from a Christmas song or carol to avoid losing one of your gifts!
Watch out for the two dreaded sprout cards as they could have a bad effect and make you lose out… The player with the best presents at the end of the game is the winner. All the joys of Christmas in this one box!"

Available from Debenhams for £30.00

LinkIt! Game
This game is really catchy, and I am sure the whole family will love it. It's a game where you really need to use your brain and eyes - so maybe not so good if you've had a bit too drink, haha. However, it's a fun game and aimed for 8+ years, although my five, nearly six years old really enjoyed playing it too. A bit more information about the game:
"Each card in the first deck contains one symbol that can be linked to another symbol on any card in the second deck. The aim of the game is to compete to find the link between the cards in front of you ... before your competitors do."

Available from Amazon for £12.99

Mr and Mrs
A game from a very popular tv show, Mr and Mrs can now be played at home with friends and partners. This entertaining game is bound to bring out some laughter between couples and friends. Players are challenged to answer in-depth and entertaining questions about their partners, friends or family members.

Available from Debenhams for £19.99

Have you played any of these games?
