Our Month - Adventures and Celebrations

How crazy is it that we're heading into May already? The year really is just, flying by. May is quite an exciting month, however, April has been pretty much exciting too. I have forgotten to write our monthly family posts for a couple of months now, which I'm disapointed but in all honesty, I've been struggling to keep on top of my blog and my YouTube channel. I am slowly getting into some kind of balance of balancing the both between eachother, but it's all worth it in the end. I am love the fact that I can write down all my memories on my blog and look back at them in months or years down the line. I already look back at Freddie's monthly updates, and feel sad at the fact that he is growing up so much. I am yet to write an update about him, but he is nearly two and I think I'll wait a little until then, or maybe sooner? We will see.

April. Well, it's definitely been a month full of memories and wonderful celebrations. I decided to buy us a National Trust membership and we've made two trips to two local Nation Trust parks this month. We went to Penrhyn Castle one Saturday and Plas Newydd, the following Saturday. We were extremley lucky that the weather was absolutely stunning both times. Freddie and I went to Penrhyn Castle with a close friend and we went as a family to Plas Newydd.

Not only that, but we also spent a special day celebrating my uncle's wedding. It was an absolutely amazing day and it was so lovely having both families together. It was truly a special and amazing day, spent with some amazing people and family. Couldn't of asked for a better last weekend of April. The following day, I was ill with a hangover (oops!) but we went out for a meal, to celebrate my partners Uncle and Aunty's anniversary which was lovely.

Here's to another month, the fifth month of the year - how scary is that?

  2. We love having a National Trust pass! We've almost finished our first year now and will definitely be renewing - it's so fab for days out with the kids. Your little boy looks so smart in his wedding suit and what lovely photos of you with your husband and as a family together. I hope May brings lots of fun times for you all too.

  5. Really lovely photos and I love that unicorn headband (though not as much as our 8yo would!). It sounds like you had a lovely day for your Uncle's wedding. #kcacols
