Our Summer Plans with CBBC Summer Social

The summer holidays are nearly here, and I am actually getting so excited. I've planned a few things to do with the girls this year while Freddie is in nursery (once a week) and also planned a few things to do with all three kids most of the other days. I'm looking forward to not having to rush in the mornings to get ready for the school runs, and just take each day as it comes. Something I'm super excited about is visiting Liverpool at least 3 times during the summer holidays. One reason we are going there is to take the girls to the CBBC Summer Social.

We have been invited to attend the CBBC Summer Social which is coming to Liverpool at the beginning of August. The event lasts 3 whole days - Friday 3rd of August until Sunday 5th of August. It's full of the most popular well-known CBBC and a couple of Cbeebies characters such as Mr Tumble, Andy Day, The Worst Witch, Sam and Mark and even Shrek The Musical. I have to admit that I am pretty excited to actually meet/see Mr Tumble and Sam and Mark! I used to watch Sam and Mark when I was a child - so pretty exciting!

The girls are at the age now where they are definitely becoming little fans of some tv shows. I know they're going to be over the moon with seeing Andy Day! They love watching him on tv. Not just characters/actors from tv shows, the popular band The Vamps will be there too, and I know Mia is going to jump for joy when she sees them. It's going to be an amazing day with amazing acts. Matt Terry, Union J and more will also be there.

The event takes place in the historic Grade II listed Croxteth Hall in Croxteth Country Park. I've taken a look at Google, and the place looks absolutely stunning. There are so many activities and is aimed for ages 6-12-year-olds. Tickets start from £28 per day and you can purchase your tickets by visiting the website https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbcsummersocial

* We have been given tickets to attend this event.
