Half Term Week / Halloween 2016

The girls were off school last week and we spent most of the week indoors. I had planned to go out for a few walks but we all just had easy going days by doing some activities and just chilling indoors. I wasn't looking forward to this half term because I found the summer holidays so tough with all three at home, but it was much better than I thought.

We did a few activities where the girls painted their own pumpkins and they even made some fluffy pumpkins with paper plates and cotton wool by painting them orange. We made our own jewellery with Gel-A-Peel and the girls loved making them. They got to play with their new Noddy House Playset, which they still play with daily. We watched the new first ever Shopkins DVD, which the girls really enjoyed and has watched it more than once. The Shopkins DVD is out now.

Every year I am always meaning to buy some pumpkins to carve but kept on forgetting. This year, I remembered and we all carved a pumpkin. The girls had so much fun carving their pumpkins and were really proud of them. Friday evening Mia was in her Dad's, and Mia went to a Halloween party in a local club, she also won 2nd place in best costume and she was super proud of herself.

On Monday, Halloween day, my brothers and sister came up to see us. We had a few bits of party food ready for them and the girls were really happy seeing their aunt and uncles. I haven't seen them for a long time because of personal things, but it was amazing seeing them and having a catch-up.
